Potassium Nitrate is a crystalline salt, KNO3; a solid oxidizer utilized particularly in making gunpowder, as compost, and in medication.
Potassium nitrate is an ionic salt of potassium particles K+ and nitrate particles NO3− and is in this way an antacid metal nitrate. It is a characteristic wellspring of nitrate and has been utilized as a constituent for a few distinct purposes, including sustenance additives, composts, tree stump expulsion, rocket fuels and firecrackers. Potassium nitrate is a typical dynamic fixing in dentrifices where it applies an anti-sensitivity activity. It gives expanding insurance against agonizing affectability of the teeth to cool, warm, acids, desserts or contact.
POTASSIUM NITRATE is a white to grimy dark crystalline strong. Water solvent. Noncombustible, however, quickens the consuming of ignitable materials. In the event that extensive amounts are engaged with flame or the ignitable material is finely isolated a blast may come about. May detonate under delayed introduction to warmth or fire. Harmful oxides of nitrogen are delivered in flames. Utilized as a part of strong charges, explosives, composts
